Golnar Khosrowshahi

Chief Executive Officer

Golnar Khosrowshahi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Reservoir and a member of the Board. Established in 2007, Reservoir is the first female founded and led publicly traded independent music company in the U.S. Under Ms. Khosrowshahi's leadership, Reservoir has grown to own and administer over 150,000 copyrights and 36,000 master recordings, with titles dating as far back as 1900. Ms. Khosrowshahi continues to lead the team in building a well-attended roster and an established catalog, and regularly appears as one of Billboard's Most Powerful Female Executives, as well as a Billboard Power Player. She notably earned a spot in Billboard's Women In Music Hall of Fame in 2023, following her recognition as Executive of the Year for 2022. Golnar has been named Music Week's International Woman of the Year in 2023, one of Fast Company's Most Creative People In Business, Forbes' 50 Over 50, and to Variety's New Power of New York, and Power of Women lists. Furthermore, Reservoir has twice been awarded both Publisher of the Year at Music Business Worldwide's The A&R Awards and Independent Publisher of the Year at the Music Week Awards.

In addition to her role as CEO of Reservoir, Ms. Khosrowshahi serves as a Director on the board of the National Music Publishers' Association, working to ensure fair compensation for songwriters and their representatives. She also sits on NMPA's S.O.N.G.S. Foundation Board of Directors, an organization that raises funds to support career songwriters. Working alongside Artist Director and cellist Yo-Yo Ma for over a decade, Ms. Khosrowshahi served as Board Chair of the musical collective, Silkroad. In 2022, she was elected to the Board of Directors for the New York Philharmonic. Golnar also previously served on the Board of Directors for RBI (Restaurant Brands International) and the Board of Directors of Nomad Foods. Ms. Khosrowshahi is a classically trained pianist through the Royal Academy of Music in London, England and the Royal Conservatory of Music in Canada. She holds an MBA from Columbia University in New York City and a BA in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College.

Rell Lafargue

President, Chief Operating Officer

Rell Lafargue is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Reservoir and a member of the Board. Mr. Lafargue has been Reservoir's President and Chief Operating Officer since October 2013 and oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations in New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, London, Toronto and Abu Dhabi. When Mr. Lafargue joined Reservoir at its inception, the company represented four songwriters and 2,000 songs. Building on over twenty years of industry experience, Mr. Lafargue built the company's infrastructure, assembled its Creative and Synch teams, established its administration systems, and developed the international network that oversees Reservoir's copyrights to this day. Under Mr. Lafargue's direction, Reservoir has grown to represent over 150,000 compositions and 36,000 master recordings worldwide.

Mr. Lafargue continues to spearhead Reservoir's international and domestic expansion efforts, having overseen the acquisitions and integrations of the historic Shapiro Bernstein catalog, TVT Music Publishing catalog, First State Media Group catalog, UK publishers Reverb Music and P&P Songs, and iconic record labels Chrysalis Records, Tommy Boy Music, and Philly Groove Records. Additionally, Rell was instrumental in signing Nate "Danja" Hills, one of the company's first high-profile writer-producers, to the Reservoir roster. Prior to his time at Reservoir, Mr. Lafargue was Vice President at TVT Records and TVT Music Publishing, where he worked with artists including Nine Inch Nails, Lil Jon, Snoop Dogg, Scott Storch, and Pitbull.

Mr. Lafargue was named a 2023 Billboard Indie Power Player, as well as a 2023 Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Power Player. Rell serves on the board of the International Confederation of Music Publishers, Mechanical Licensing Collective, and Music Publishers Canada, working to promote the interests of music publishers and their songwriting partners. He also previously served on the board of the Association of Independent Music Publishers—NY Chapter. Beyond his career in music publishing, Mr. Lafargue is an accomplished producer, performer, arranger, software consultant, and university lecturer. He holds a master's degree in Music Business and Entertainment Industries from the University of Miami.

Jim Heindlmeyer

Chief Financial Officer

Jim Heindlmeyer is the Chief Financial Officer of Reservoir Media. Mr. Heindlmeyer has been the Chief Financial Officer of Reservoir since April 2021, in which capacity he has overseen all of the accounting functions company wide as well as managed other information technology, human resources, business development and label operations functions. Prior to being appointed as the Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Heindlmeyer was the Executive Vice President of Operations of Reservoir from January 2020 until March 2021. He was an independent consultant from December 2017 until January 2020. From July 2013 until October 2017, Mr. Heindlmeyer served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Yonder Music, where he led the launch of the music service in multiple countries in Southeast and South Asia, including creating subsidiaries in each of the markets and establishing local offices staffed by professionals responsible for working with the company’s partners in the region. Mr. Heindlmeyer started his career at KPMG LLP, went on to lead finance at TVT Records for over ten years and subsequently moved into the digital music space holding positions at The Orchard and streaming platforms Beyond Oblivion and Yonder Music. Mr. Heindlmeyer graduated from the Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, magna cum laude.
